Natty's here, all footloose and fancy free and cracking us up endlessly...Woo Hoo! It will either be a truly hilarious walk in the hills or a very long one with obviously, bad weather...but we're almost ready. First team meeting yesterday in the local famiiree restaurant. Gotta love drink bar, all Sunday arvo. Covered the course plan, then things went haywire when Dee tried to explain about the "fork"...I know I lost you all, but got you back at the first mention of the "cockies" (...slight misprint in the food handout...cockies/cookies we'll take anything). Ness's all packed, the rest of us in disarray. Time to get a bit organised. Checking the TENKI every 2 mins, not impressed Friday...deliver us from a downpour. Running out of time to meet the team, here's Trace today in all her fabulousness. So proud of all you've done and achieved this year...You've inspired so many. So after TW...what's next...? Can't wait.

Tracey…Is using Trailwalker Japan to complete a massive lifestyle change that started at the end of May 2008. To date she has lost almost 50 kgs and participating in Trailwalker will be both the end of an emotional journey and the start of a life dedicated to good health. There are no secrets or fast fixes to this stunning transformation. It was all done with lots of hard work & training, eating right, calories in and calories out and never giving up. She comes from a family of elite athletes. Her brothers were swimmers and sister-in-law is Australian 3-time Olympic champion Hayley Lewis. So sport and exercise to Trace was always something only the best pursued. However, this past year she’s been enlightened to the enjoyment and benefits of exercise. Anyone can move, there are no limits. The human body is capable of anything once you put it into motion. So joining Trailwalker will put all her new skills and body to the test. It won’t be easy, but crossing that finishing line will be an empowering and emotional moment for her on many levels.
At 37, Tracey is originally from Sydney, but Brisbane is now home for her family. She’s been in Japan 12 years and wonders where the time went. She runs 3 successful businesses with fellow Soundtracker, and life-long BFF, Dee. Trace is an international award-winning photographer, always planning and dreaming about photographing the world with her many cameras. She’s been published and exhibited internationally. Her passions include, travel, photography, music, film, family, planning outrageous trips, good food, reality TV and she’s about to step-up and try her first full triathlon. Plus, her gourmet cheese platters are legendary. Trace is all about living life to its fullest, is curious and wonders out loud all the time (mostly about where her glasses are..). She is truly THE game guru and will entertain anyone with her incredible trivia knowledge, geography and world awareness. And she will make you laugh. Her facebook updates are in a league of their own. With a devoted love of the color red, long karaoke songs, live concerts and punk music...(who knew?), you'll also find her jumping out of planes, riding camels across the Gobi Desert, gatecrashing Star Trek conventions, lamenting on the state of her hair, parking where she shouldn't, popping up in the Jerry Springer audience, breaking rules and wearing vintage t-shirts. She is the driving force behind The Soundtracks team, roping them in one by one.
